ADAM MEEK, Broker, RSPS 

Adam is a long-time resident of the lakes area, making him an excellent resource for his clients and customers. Adam has proven himself as an experienced and effective team-player in dealing with all types of client needs. Adam and Jonathan are the FIRST REALTORS® in Minnesota to be certified as Resort and Second-home Property Specialists (RSPS). Adam attended Prosource in Minneapolis before obtaining his Minnesota Real Estate Sales license.

Adam is also a licensed Real Estate Broker. The difference between a real estate salesperson, and a Real Estate Broker is that a Real Estate Broker must complete additional advanced coursework in Real Estate studies, and is generally accepted to have more in-depth knowledge than a Real Estate Salesperson.

Adam believes that integrity and ethics are of the utmost importance in real estate sales and the accompanying follow-up service. The Lakes Team utilizes the team approach while assisting clients with their needs. From their perspective, this is the only way to guarantee the true "24/7" service necessary in this dynamic marketplace.

Adam's family ties to Otter Tail County began in 1955 when his parents bought a property in the Erhard area. Later, in 1970, his parents owned and operated the Old Maine Store in Maine, Minnesota. Adam, his wife, Kattie, and their two sons reside on a farm in Maine Township.

Jonathan D. Meek, RSPS

Jonathan has been a resident of Otter Tail County since the early 1960s, and has lived in Maine Township, off and on, spanning 5 decades!

Jonathan brings the expertise of business ownership, entrepreneurship and a background of farming/ecological perservation to the Team.  Having been self-employed for most of his adult life, Jonathan understands the values of hard work, thrift and has a keen eye for properties that are priced to market conditions.

A strong knowledge of the area, the lakes and the people of the community assist The Lakes Team in directing their clients to the right properties for the right reasons.

Jonathan is involved in the local communities as a volunteer for special causes and raises a small sheep herd.
